Ceramic and sculpted cedar, 2021. This sculpture won 'Use of Materials' in the 2021 Charman Prize at the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art - awarded to an artist employing technical mastery in a chosen medium. The judges' commentary: “A beautiful use of materials, meticulously moulded and cut. The nod to Bermuda's heritage through the use of local material enhanced the message, which only became more compelling the longer you stayed with the piece.”
