Liana Nanang Omodele is a multidisciplinary storyteller and memory keeper whose work as a writer, artist, speaker and performer navigates race, nationality, trauma, resilience, spirituality and colonialism. She has been interviewed by Forbes and the BBC and has contributed writing and photography to The New York Times.

By fusing her passions for art and history, Liana creates modern and thought-provoking pieces. Her art has evolved to blend contemporary concepts with indigenous narratives. Her poetry and visual art were selected for the 2022 Bermuda National Gallery Biennial and she won 'Use of Materials' for her sculpture in the 2021 Charman Prize at Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art.
